This happens way too often. And I'm sure the guys are just as guilty of nc/ns as the ladies. But c'mon. If you are running late, or can't make it, for whatever reason, let the person know. I can think of very few reasons that would prevent someone from calling and leaving a message. Sure, things happen, but a call back with an explanation and apology is common sense. No one should have to sit in a hotel room or parking lot thinking, 5 more minutes....10......20? NC/NS shows a total lack of respect, and tells you a lot about the person.

I think everyone hates the NC/NS. What I also hate is when you call to make an appt and the provider says she would be avail at X time but instead of making an appointment they say to call back at that time or an hour before or whatever. When this happens they might as well have not answered the phone in the first place as nothing has been accomplished other than us both wasting our breath. Either make an appt or not. Ok, rant over.

Good for you Alexis for defending yourself and you did so in an objective manner. I personally would have allowed emotions to get the best of me.

Sorry for the confusion. I determined this was not a review. The reasoning was that if there is no meeting there can be no review. I moved the thread here to Coed Discussions and meant to mark it as such but did not. My bad. Alexxis commented in a thread in Coed Discussions. Any fault is mine not hers.

I'm reposting since they were mistakenly deleted.

Here's the first one:

I'll admit in the past I have had a few nc/ns issues due to drama/deaths in the family/car issues, the list goes on. Well, now that I am back from Texas and ready to dive back in to the hobby with all of my issues taken care of this lovely gent decides to post this.

First of all, we never had a confirmed appointment until today at noon. The two previous incidents he referred to were him emailing me requesting an appointment time, me saying what time would work for me, then waiting for a confirmation from him...which I never received. Those two previous incidents were not appointments! They were merely inquiries as to my availability and us trying to nail down a time.

I decided to cancel the noon appointment at 9:00am due to his attitude in his emails, being rather difficult about me screening him (not wanting to send me a request through his 411 verifying that it was his account), and the issue of him using multiple emails to contact me. After some consideration this morning I decided that it would be best I not see him and gave him plenty of notice of the cancellation and even stated my reasons. He then replied and thanked me for letting him know ahead of time.

This really chaps my hide. I will be the first to admit I had nc/ns issues in the past. But this is not a nc/ns and we did not have two previous appointments booked!

I normally wouldn't post something about this and just go on about my day but I felt I should defend myself in this one considering my past issues.

My second post that was deleted was about him writing a fake review on another website. The activities listed were Full Service, CIM, and Multiple Pops. Oh, and he said I have implants, which I most definitely do not. Make up your mind Padre. Did you see me or not???? You just earned yourself a nice cozy spot on my dns list.
