Unfortunately it happens alot that unscrupulous people use others' photos to promote their "services" or scams. You can try to protect yourself/photos by putting your copyright information on each photo you use online. This may not stop them completely, but it may deter them from using the photos if your contact info (website/e-mail/phone) is on there.
