Show tunes, Madonna, village people, and the culture club. All manly stuff.
my musical taste varies so much it would be hard to describe. Classic rock, 80's era stuff, some hip hop, big band, classical remixes, fusion jazz, jazz, some off the wall stuff.

pretty much anything that makes me want to move is good...

but no RAP or opera.

and please do not call yourself a musician when all you do is "sample"
Sofia – I love your list.

I would have to take off the singer / songwriter types like Carla Bruni though she gets a serious hottie and style nod .

I’d add to your country list. Hank Williams I and II, Garth before he went “pop”, Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings, David Alan Coe, Johnny Cash and maybe a few more. I’d have to think about it. I’m a huge fan of the 97.1 the Oldies Country station in Houston.

Classical / Opera
I’d have to add Ravel’s Bolero (I’m listening to it just now actually). Beethoven’s 9th Symphony is especially beautiful because of the corral music. I saw it preformed in Boston. Ode to Joy was so beautiful and shockingly Maestro fell – with a thud! The arias I love are far and a way too many to list. I already have my tickets for Barber of Seville and La Traviata (Opening Night). I can’t wait.

Rock and Roll?
AC/DC
The Sex Pistols in particular Sid Vicious’ rendition of “My Way”
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Canned Heat
The Black Keys
Cage the Elephant
Pink Floyd
Elvis
Janice Joplin
Paul Simon particularly Graceland
Lynard Skynyrd
Arethia Franklin
T Rex
Kid Rock
Eminim
Nirvana
Boston
Eagles
Moody Blues – I just saw them a couple of months ago
Peter Frampton – in all his iterations
Eric Clapton – in all his iterations
Rolling Stones
REM
Ramone Ayala particularly Tragos de Amargo Liquor
The Kumbia Kings
Amy Winehouse
Duffy
I could go on and on.

Johnny Cash! I forgot that one! You have GREAT taste in music! You do learn a great deal about people by their music. I would have never guessed you as a Kumbia Kings fan! I hope others share their taste with us. This way we get to really see what they like and their taste. People freak out when I tell them I like Kanye West. I can't help myself.

I figured Spirit the genuis would have classical taste as well.....Now let's see what everyone else likes. Jump right in peeps Da Chef? What do you like? London? Valerie?
I like Omega, Shakira, Trey Songs, Dead Mau5, Tiesto and Nickelback.

Two contrasting extracts which say more about DATY than the real thing:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGEhbWFcDSE

The falling flutters as you give rapid tongue vibrations

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4zeXrFOPvA

The long slow tasting of her as you move your tongue up, and then flick the erect clit at the end of the phrase (rising and falling semitone). This one has to be with somebody who is not a time watcher, and tastes very good.

Some people say this kind of music is sad - that is just because they think all orchestral music is sad.
