Visiting Austin July 16 - 22 how are things

I am coming back to Austin the 16th to 22nd. Just wondering how are things downtown and in nw Austin (where I'll be).

As long as I can get some great BBQ from Terry Black's I will be ok

Almost all bbq joints are pre order, lately and you'll pay around $29 /pound. With a 1 pound min. I'm a pretty accomplished smoker myself should you want some excellent brisket and pulled pork.

Downtown isn't great right now with protests/riots some days and all weekends. NW is better.
