Unwanted calls/texts from providers
Is it common for providers to text advertising their specials after you have seen them? I got a text from a provider saying "I have a 2 girl special today." How the hell do you explain that if your wife or kids have your phone at the time? This seems extremely unprofessional. I'm going to sleep with my phone on airplane mode until I can track down every provider I have spoken to in the past year and block their numbers. Does anyone have this problem or am I the only guy not using a burner phone?
The appropriateness of the texts is debatable (I don't mind them), but the bigger issue is your apparent use of your RW phone number to communicate with hookers. If that is true, you are inviting disaster by not using either a hobby phone or google voice for your hobby communications.
I don't get texts and I've turned off email notifications, so I'm good.
I did have a provider text me over 50 times in one day, thankfully she's no longer providing
IMHO, it's extremely unprofessional for a provider to send you any unsolicited text messages. I have a few clients who I know it's ok to text outside of arranging plans to meet but even then, it should be kept to a minimum. Sorry this is happening to you. But I also agree with TinMan. Your best bet is to either use a burner phone, google voice, or limit your contact to email/pm's. Good luck.
wait till you get a lady you've spoke with but never visited send you explicit text messages to help you get off the fence while your out with family or friends. After the 3rd text I had to respond and say either cease these messages or I'll report you. Her response was "whatever"... If the shoe was on the other foot would you think she'd say "whatever" ??? This gal is is old enough to know better.. Clue, NR
Two words: HOBBY PHONE! Some of you may have seen the thread where a BP gal ran off with my my money left her phone in my car. I had that phone for two days before we negotiated a time and place for her to get the phone and me to get my money back.
You would not believe how much real life info about hobbyists was on that phone. Names, place they work, etc. Could be bad if someone else got that information.
On another note, my UTR's facebook got hijacked by a pimp or boyfriend and I got several threatening FB pm's and calls two days ago saying they "were going to get me". Fortunately, the facebook account she has for me is my hobby FB along with my hobby phone.

I actually like the texts because if I'm free I'll do it. You get better deals that way too when they reach out to you because cash is needed. Then you start to grandfather that rate.
Hobby phone. Google voice guys linked to hobby email. Come on. Never mix real world with hobby phone.
I've gotten texts from a provider after seeing her. She was texting me her availability and specials. I had to tell her twice to stop and I blocked her number. In my opinion it's in professional if the was not an "okay" given.
I've accidentally texted a client that asked to not be texted I learned my lesson and keep side notes of each contact on who I can text and can't. Helps me a lot.

I've spent a lot of time texting with some women. Heck, it was the volume of texts I was getting from one that convinced me to upgrade to a smartphone! I know I spent almost three whole workdays texting her, and lots more time with her and the others.
But they all knew it was okay to do so, and that's the key. There's also a direct relationship between the appropriateness of an unsolicited text and how well you know the woman. And to me, the context of the message makes a difference. I'm much more likely to be swayed by "I was thinking about you today and hoped you could stop by on your way home from work" than I am a message that's obviously been sent to half of Fort Worth.
Strangely enough, I never got a "stop by" or "come see me" or "I'm running a special" text. I know some of you guys get "come fuck me" texts and naked selfies -- I get "Hi, how are you?" and pictures of dogs and kids. SMH.
