Adulthobbyboard Taken Down?

This morning I went to check and it seems as though the site isn't running anymore;
it wasn't a high traffic site so I'm sure it probably was taken down..

anyone have the 411?
I had over 10 reviews from the west coast on there.

I'm just curious on why AHB went down - it went down one other time I can recall for maintenance, but this seems more than that.

Anyone know for sure if the shutdown is funding related, LE shutdown, or maintenance?

Freakin' feds are so clueless when it comes to shutting down escort sites. If they shut down every site in that area, it isn't going to stop prostitution. It'll be here as long as guys have a hard dick and a need for someone to put it in. It will just be harder to do it and still be reasonably safe. These douchebags ought to get ready for a steady increase in street activity.

I have used that site when I visited Utah to find providers. I do not think LE closed it down do to no LE seal on the website. It seems to me that is what they do. They need to advertise the "good work" they are doing.

Since there is no FBI seal I think it was do to funds, or lack of interest (or fear of LE). When I was there ~2yrs ago, the users did have a fund raising campaign to keep the site active.

That is always a good sign.

The Admin pulled the plug voluntarily, a step or two ahead of possible seizure by LE. They deleted all info that was on there to protect the members and themselves. They apologize for taking it down without any notice, but they had to act quickly.

Sad to see AHB taken down. It was my main hobbying forum, as I've only come to ECCIE fairly recently. I don't trust Backpage. With AHB gone, I wonder if my time as a hobbyist is over? ECCIE isn't known to have a very active section for the Dakotas, but maybe it will pick up?

imo, a vacuum is always filled; sooner or later, but not always sooner.

Plenty of resource out there with available bandwidth and somewhat foreign protection from the feds.

But, it takes a long while for the news to spread.

Feeling sorry, I am, for the folks in the upper northwest who need to re-work their resources.
