Age question. As a hobbyist when should I retire?

I am have only been in the hobby for about a year and have met many great providers I would consider friends. This is a great hobby.

I have a birthday coming up and this has gotten me thinking of when should an old man retire from the hobby.

60? Comments?

Hot damn. Being older has its advantages. I can enjoy more hot young chicks than I was ever about to when I was younger and shy.

Seriously I have friends in real estate operations, which, in addition to commercial stuff and hotels, also include Assisted Living Places.
Stories from the ALPs are pretty much the same as stories out of hotel operations.
But, considering the ALP folks involved are in their 70s/80s whatever, they get bonus points to win any story.

Btw, never ever sit down to a card game with folks at an ALP. They've usually been playing the game a few decades longer than most.

I will be happy to inform you the majority of friends I meet range from the age of 55-74.. and many of them I have become very fond of. The best thing about the hobby is that there are no limits.. including age.
Personally, I adore wiser gentleman.

I am much like the OP. I started the hobby at 59 but I've been at it a little over a year longer than he has. 61 here and not one thought in the world about quitting. I am enjoying this way too much for that. Lots of ladies appreciate an older client and I sure as hell appreciate the lovely ladies I have met here. Keep going as long as your can do and want to line up for it.

however, while being an older client helps, most if not all providers prefer the older guys - hamilton, grant, franklin, even washington :^}
i dont think we'd get very far w/out them at our side.


seriously, like others posted, when it's no longer deliteful for you or affordable ... or when you truly know/feel it, then it'll be time to back away and let others follow in your footsteps.

Excellent Thread 67.....I had no idea that I might actually be one of the younger ones at the mid century mark. Unfortunately, I have the body of a 75 year old. No offense intended. This information has given me a whole new outlook on life though. Party til you can't......!

At 60 many providers would consider you at a great age. The advice above is great...hobby on till you can't afford it anymore. Even if you are unable due to health reasons, there are many ladies who are able to accommodate men with health issues. Heck, I've even heard of ladies who visit assisted living facilities. As long as you are kind and have a clean and suckable pecker, you'll be just fine.
