Google voice + smartphone vs Hobby phone

i dont know if ths is the right area for this thread moderators let me know.

i wanted to know which is better. google voice + smartphone or hobby phone? is possible Pros and Cons of each. i'm a newbie so bear with me guys lol

I love Google voice on my smart phone it is so convenient and efficient. I love that I can schedule times for my voice account not to ring on my phone. Of course I don't have any attachments or reasons to hide my phone so I am not very wary of the security side of having 2 phones in 1

I think this is an area where the serious Hobbyist has to fore go "high tech whiz bang" appliances for the security of being 100% anonymous.

Get a non-traceable hobby phone. That's it. Period.
