Hello everyone so I will be in Dallas this weekend and I’m trying to figure out when does the Texas state fair begin? I am CRAVING a smoked Turkey leg🤤

They did it in 2015 and I think that was the only time I've seen it.

Demand was so great the vendor couldn't keep up with it.

Other than some weird fried foods that you can find at most Food Truck gatherings what is the attraction to the State Fair for Adults? Kids stuff like animals and 3rd Rate Carnival games and rides but I saw few things to interest an Adult. Please report back on your findings I would be interested.

all kinds of free music concerts, new car/truck expo, lots of food & drink (if they have pie malts, have one!!), arts & crafts, lots of peopke watching.

maybe get it on in a secluded spot ???

But is it enough to just crave a smoked turkey leg? The Fair needs to bring back Fat Albert and the Snake Girl. I can't get interested until that happens.
