Oh thank you for your responses, ladies.. I really appreciate it. I didn't think KC would be that great, though I have a best friend there who has been begging me to go see him... so I think that trip could be great otherwise.

It looks like the areas I was thinking of would be good areas to go spend some time... NOLA would be fun.. I haven't been there in years.. since I was a kid...

Traveling is a crapshoot where ever you decide to go. I have found that men who prebook tend to easily cancel. And last minute appointments happen quite a lot.
