Blocking other members

When I previously had PA, I think I there was a way to could block certain members so I wouldn't have to see their posts in threads. Is this just a figment of a senile old man's imagination or is there a way to do that?

It might be the ignore option in your User CP (left column). I'm new so I could be wrong.

Hey that says Super Moderator not Grammar Nazi
You have to spell it "correctly", rockerrick

Certainly not a grammar Nazi nor a punctuation Nazi either.
The comma is also a very important tool. It's the difference between:

"Let's eat, Grandma!"

and

"Let's eat Grandma!"

Hahaha guys , actually I put about 5 spaces between the sentence and my handle , but the system put it that way . Should have been ;
You have to spell it right_____ rockerrick

I keep spelling it rockerdick that's why I just use RR

... and the Ignore list is a powerful tool !

What I like to know is: How long it takes you to hit that read anyway button so you see that blocked out post.... May be one day a Coed discussion, highly encouraging to use the Ignore List an all these damn "whatchamacallthem"
You can always wait for someone to quote , then it shows anyway .

I can't wait THAT long, well unless it's you quoting, then it's faster than me being able to hit the 'View Post" button.

Can't find "user list". Can I get some help from a mod?
All the way left 11 down members list . Or on main pg national at bottom it shows you everyone that is logged on .

Ohhh you can't read this if you put me on ignore .
There are two ways (that I know of) to do this.
1) As Vicki said, click on the user's name and select View Public Profile. When you get to their profile page, under their name you'll see a drop-down link for Send Message, and next to that one for User Lists. Select the latter, and from the drop-down menu select Add to Ignore List.
2) Alternatively, on the left hand side of this page, under Main Menu, select User CP. This takes you to your User Control Panel. On the left hand side of that page, under Your Control Panel look down under Settings and Options. The last link is Edit Ignore List. Select that, and it will take you to a page where you can add members to your Ignore List.
