Referrals ??

Can someone explain on the user profiles what the "refferals" is? Many people have a zero next to it, and only a few have numbers from 1-4.

It's located in the statistics portion of the profile

That's largely for providers. If they refer other providers to the site they can earn credit they can put towards banner ads.
