What does it mean when provider ask for P411 for screening? Are they just asking for reference on P411?

There is a "notice" posted that "the law" is changing (or predicted to change) soon so that "menu" items cannot be posted in ads on Canadian based sites. I am "assuming" that links to "off premises" websites will be permitted (or at least not prohibited) and then "menus" available.

I get a P411 account, meet with two providers on P411 for verification. Does that sound about right?

Do I have to pay the subscription fee annually to keep the P411 ID?

Or buy a lifetime membership and not worry about renewing it.
