company publications and the hobby

For those of you who work in the corporate sector whose company hires a pr firm or is being covered by the media for some reason or another, do you find yourself avoiding the camera due to your involvement in this hobby?

Do you expect a chick to call your job and say " I fucked that guy for cash!", and try to blackmail you? I was on the news once, the only one I heard from about it was my granny.

I used to be interviewed fairly often, I used it as a verification tool in the hobby.

I haven't avoided the camera. But then again, I try not to do anything noteworthy that will grab the spotlight either. I just quietly go about my business in the background and make sure that everything I'm responsible for is running smoothly and properly.

Whether it be outside the hobby, or within.
