Decided to take a girlfriend of mine to the beach in galveston. Anybody know some good seafood spots

If you want casual and inexpensive, try Benno's on the Beach (1200 Seawall Blvd.) for PoBoys, hushpuppies, and a great outdoor eating.

We don't have any beaches at Galveston...we have a brown, foamy, stinky substance that vaguely resembles water, and we have seaweed covered, gritty, grey stuff that is a crime to call sand...

WK IS RIGHT! Im from California when i took my kids to Galveston they thought it was a swamp. No beaches here hun.
Check out Shrimp N'Stuff - it's a place for locals away from the tourist area.

There's also a fair cajun place on Broadway, uncle something. Driving in its on the right. Both are good food for the buck. Higher up the chain is, of course Guido's, or Fishermans Wharf by the piers. Have fun.
