The nerve of some people......

Something has been bugging me for a good bit now. There have been a few mentions in coed, to my PM box, and conversation with providers and hobbyists with regard to being contacted about information that was posted in private areas.

People someway, somehow get ahold of information or their WK swaps passwords with them, etc. How in the world can you contact someone about something they posted in an area you have no business in? If you were worried about being offended don't look or listen. It's your own damn fault if you are offended.

I can't believe some of what is going on lately. Well nothing suprises me but I am surprised at the gall and arrogance of some people. It is almost like they feel like they can do what they want. They apparently can. Those people that have complained rarely will do anything like reporting that provider to the mods. Report it all and give that provider or hobbyist a well deserved push to the mods and have them sent on a vacation.

What also gets me is that some of these reports are coming from established members. Providers and/or hobbyists who know better than to look at things they shouldn't or by harrassing members because they were mad at what they read. Get over it.

We all know nothing is sacred but respect your fellow hobbyist or provider by not harrassing them for something they posted. If you are harrassed by someone, report them....

+1

I barely have time to read my email, PM's, & once a day check out New Posts, usually. It seems there is more typing and investigating going on than providing...IMHO.

There is what you know, and what you can prove. It is very difficult to definitively ascertain where or how someone obtains information from the private areas of this site that was not intended for them to know. Those who share such information know this. There is no real deterrent to discourage the practice so it continues pretty much unabated.

What's that saying? "Listen not at the keyhole lest you be vexed" Appropriate lately

i learned that lesson awhile back, don't blame others for digging through shit you have no business looking through.

I understand Sixx's anger, but i guess ultimately it feels like a losing war. I think the worst thing was several days ago, when a poster posted an innocuous picture of a provider and within 10 minutes was told to take it down by the provider.

it's just friggin ridiculous, i couldn't believe that. It's just too easy to get access to the Men's Lounge, whereas Powder Room is much harder. Not that I care what goes on in there, it's not for me and besides I would probably get bored with it.

but it's the principle of the matter that a lot of people have no respect for.

Makes it close to impossible to report them to a mod when they've got your hobby email, and are doing things outside of the ECCIE site.

I haven't really been around here much lately, and was surprised to find out that you gave up the mod position. Can't say that I blame you. I hope you are getting back into you're old swing of things.

I was going to start a similar thread a while back and figured that few care and even less would do anything about it.

atxbrad,

There is a button when you're reading a PM from some that looks like this . It's on the upper right hand corner.

I found a website on google that shows all the mens locker room area and the guys section under indy reviews.. I don't think its guys sharing the passwords .. somebodys leaking the information on to the web.. No good if you ask me.. it should be private.
