Trinity is upset today. McMurry University's defense and special teams powered the War Hawks to their first ever playoff win of any kind Saturday as the War Hawks knocked off #11 Trinity 25-16 on its home field in the first round of the NCAA Division III Playoffs.
And meanwhile at The Dome = UTSA emded their season with a sound thrashing of Minot State 49-7. Next year will be even better as our local Roadrunners become involved with the WAC.
Something interesting to note ==> I thought I was at a GLMI as I saw no less than eight (8) hobbiests strolling by prior to the game. Really a good feeling that all smiled and gave a little sign of recognition as we passed one another. Perhaps it was because of what we knew was inside??..
