I found this article interesting..............

can women use viagra?

I have been using Viagra recently and it works wonders for me. My wife has been asking if she should try it as well since her libido has taken somewhat of a backseat in recent years. What do you think?

Regards,
Doug M.

It has been proven that Viagra works by increasing blood flow to the penis and although researchers aren't certain of the drug's effect on women, it seems that there is a small number of doctors who prescribe it to women. According to WebMD, one study showed that 27 out of 35 women had improved sensations and 29 had orgasms.

However, I strongly recommend that your wife see a doctor first as it could be dangerous for her to try any drug without first being evaluated by a professional.

My Cardio says he prescribes it for women who have certain somewhat rare heart conditions. He says he has a heck of a time explaining to the pharmacies that, YES, there really is a valid medical reason for the lady to take it on a daily basis. They tend to think that it is for sexual issues, not cardiac ones.

If you don't know the history of viagra, if I remember correctly, it was being tested to be used on the elderly to increase vascular function when the side effect was found.

Several years ago there was a storyline on a TV show (Law & Order I think) about a 50-some-year old man that mixed a cocktail of viagra and XTC resulting in a wild and unrestrained pussy-pounding session that left several women dead.

Maybe women need a similar cocktail.

[To the Mods: hope this is sufficiently w/in the boundaries of the guidelines. If not, feel free to remove the post.]

Viagara is more and more used for heart problems and should never be mixed with other meds without a doctors approval...

Like others have said...one should consult a doc before taking it in any case. I just don't think it does anything for women unless it's a mind over matter deal.
