Question about Paying for Parking when going to see a Provider

Brooke Wilde's Avatar
I am moving to a new incall this week and the building has no free parking. It is $7 for all day. You don’t have to pay anyone directly nor check in with anyone, you just slide the money in a box and that is it.

How do you guys feel about this? I was thinking instead of passing the expense on to you guys, that I would just offer $10 off all my rates while I am in this building. Is that acceptable to do?

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Don't like it at all, would think about just not going in. Regular guys may be ok with it but not new guys.

I believe that most guys will pass on having to pay to park. Even if you discounted it $50, they wouldn't do it. I may be wrong....

At my old place you had to pay for parking as well, but is was only 2 bucks and it was only from the hours of 9am to 6pm, after that you could park for free and that worked out okay. But at the new place it is paid parking 24/7.

I think I may go tomorrow and talk to the owner of the lot and see if he would rent me a dedicated spot for a few hundred bucks a month and then I could just direct my clients to that spot when they are in the area.

Maybe I should start marketing myself to guys who: work downtown, who are close to lightrail or there office is connected to the tunnel system or guys who take the bus in from the suburbs. It would be very easy for those guys to get to my place and then they would not even have to worry about a parking fee.

If I made an appointment to see you... the $7 parking fee is the least of my worries. What I'm more interested is in being with you : )

If I wanted to see a provider, I wouldn't care about paying a $7 parking fee. I would just want to know in advance.

I personally would not slide my card to park, pay in cash ok .

OP, it's commendable of you to invest the time and resources to provide a consistently safe and upscale private location for your clients to visit you. If the 7 bucks is an issue, they can park elsewhere and walk to the incall. Walking won't kill em ... initially

It's not the cost really, it's the surprise if I didn't know before hand. Still if you can secure a spot with the lot it would be a good idea.

I've gone to see providers in the Galleria area and paid for parking to get in to the lobby on numerous occasions. I never was conscious about paying the parking fee, and just like AC666 said, my primary thought was meeting up with my ATF, getting some fun time with her, and everything else was secondary or non-existent.
