Hilton Off of Market Center just opened a new water park. Not grand in any way. But certainly nice.

The fact we don't have a Schlitter-B in the metro-plex does make for a nice excuse to travel to New Braunfels and hang for a weekend. Take in the Hill Country, the food, music venue...even do some tubing or canoeing on the Guadalupe....etc.

Hang your hat at one of the many hotels, motels, lodgings, etc around I-35 or venture over and grab a B&B in Gruene or a cabin on the river in Canyon Lake (should you want to steer clear of families with young kids on vacay....)

And of course you have locations in Galveston and Padre Island to select from, as well, if you want to make an extended road trip.
