Considering this, along with the strong jealousy towards amputees and the complaints of not feeling “whole,” it seems that sufferers of BIID don’t want to lose a limb so much as they want to gain an amputation.

I once saw a thumb-nail of a woman about to have smissionary position ex (. It appeared that she had no legs—AND no arms. Amputated at hips and shoulders. I was facinated and repulsed at the same time. Never could get a large enough image to really see if it was a manipilsted piture or a genuine case.
