I posted this was coming after TDLR took over licensing from TSDHS. TDLR doesn't play games and has an MO for dealing with complaints. Now that they have formally posted the license(s) being revoked, that info gets sent to the cities who can send the PD in to legally shut them down and prosecute. They have also been known to notify landlords.


My posts are just FWIs ... if you're on the table at any of these places, the hammer can drop at any time.


And, it's not just these two, there is a whole list on the TDLR website. Foot Palace in Irving, Jin's in Addison, a bunch in Arlington and another in Richardson have all been hit this month.

The offenses can happen outside of the spa. Any licensed therapist convicted of any sexual or prostitution offense would have their license revoked. Although Massage Envy does have multiple lawsuits against it for sexual assault inside their spas... it was big news awhile back... they hid hundreds of complaints.

If you simply search on Massage License, without filling any other fields, you can scroll down through the results. For people east of 35, I see hits in Plano, Dallas, Allen, Richardson, Addison and a few more. There's hits for West of 35 and other parts of the state. Given how many subamps there are, there are relatively few hits.

Also, I agree that if one gets tagged, there's a reason to avoid it.

Sometimes the lic. # will refer only to a company name. Use the address and search Google, that will tell you the spa name.

Very interesting reading. It appears that a revoke of license doesn't mean they quit working.
