Also I would not set foot in W Village under any circumstance

I agree that you shouldn't go to West Village once it starts getting dark, but during the day on weekdays I'd say it's fine. Although a good chunk of all Ithaca crime seems to happen there according to the crime report I'm looking at, it's still less than one occurrence per 2 weeks, and seems to be mostly crime between people who know each other. There are hella cameras there, so I think things aren't are bad as they seem

I tend to avoid any provider where I have to check the crime report prior to my visit...but that's just me.
