So we had a discussion on who you are cheering for. . .but. . .what would be really interesting is to find out who do you cheer against and why?
For me, I can't stand the Cowboys. Back when the Bengals stunk, folks would ask me who my favorite team was. My answer was simple:
"Who is playing the Cowboys this weekend? That is my new favorite team."
I had an uncle growing up that was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Even his living room was decorated in blue and white. We went over there many holidays and Superbowls growing up in the sixties and seventies, and believe it or not, I would find myself cheering for the Steelers before I would cheer for them. Even when those cheerleaders came out, it didn't help. In fact it made it worse--just another example of putting glitter before gridiron, and in my mind that sums up the Cowboys as an organization.
