I have a person I know in the Ft Bend (Houston area) county jail on a BIG bond. Does anyone know if a Houston bail bondsman will always want person to remain in Houston or will they sometimes agree to distant release. Reason I am looking at that is I want the bondsman to get the person released to my custody in the Dallas area instead of remaining in Houston. Or should I get a Dallas Bail Bondsman to help?

If court requires anklet can I get that monitored in Dallas area as well.

Got an atty in Houston but she says all those questions belong on the bailbondsman.

Please PM if you have any info.

(Posting similar in Dallas as well)

Your attorney is correct. They will set the conditions for footing the bill i.e. weekly reporting, random UA, etc etc
The judge may also set out restrictive conditions by court order if he wants to as a condition to granting your release on bail. You'd better be careful - you could get your own ass in a sling if you take on this responsibilty and your friend lets you down. Just help your friend fulfill the current conditions - that is the best you can do now.
