Lots of great, multitalented entertainers back then. Caroll Burnett had a great cast in Harvey Corman, Tim Conway and vicky Lawrence. Laugh in was irreverent as hell. Mel Brooks had the unique ability to offend everyone. Even Lucy took her shots. Who can forget the incomparable Red Skelton. Guzzlers Gin was one of the funniest sketches I ever saw. After that Richard Pryor and George Carlin opened comedy up to the next generation which were much more tolerant to the shock they brought.
