Baton Rouge

So I will be visiting Baton Rouge this week but because it's been 2+ years since I've been, I need recommendations on a nice hotel without the aggravation of elevator key cards! I've noticed a few around the mall of Louisiana but is that too busy of an area?? Input please and Thank you!

Definitely anywhere off I10!!! Mall of LA is a good area :-)
