So for the longest time the FC2 has been the best method of protection during MFF if a guy wants more freedom when switching partners during MFF without having to switch covers. This is just one application for the FC2 and the main reason I like using them with my female partners.

As of last year the company decided to abort retail distribution in favor of direct online sales and sales by Rx only at the pharmacy counter. Completely inconvenient!

I'm curious how many other members are using FC2 and why?

What are your thoughts about the manufacturer's move to this new distribution model?

How are you obtaining the FC2?
I've always ordered them online. I, personally find them to be extremely uncomfortable, but there are certain scenarios (such as the one mentioned above) where they truly are the best option. As for the manufacturer limiting availability, it honestly makes zero sense why, in an already overpopulated and disease ridden world, anyone would restrict access to birth control. Especially methods that also limit disease transmission... Somehow, Im sure it comes down to how it affects profits for the company...

Yep, makes no sense at all when they weren't selling at drug stores to begin with. But at the adult stores like Cindie's they would sell out often. Apparently they don't know they're customer type very well.

Hope they don't go out of business after this year. I read that sales were down because and the ACA would no longer subsidize them.

There are some stupid corporate executives out there.
