Relocation to Hot Springs

I may be moving to Hot Springs soon. Anyone have advice on what parts of town to avoid when looking at houses? Also would need a recommendation for a reasonable but safe apartment while I am down there shopping. Any other local advice or recommendations would be great. Thanks

I would recommend Central ave. south of the bypass, but not past the lakes. Safest area I know of...

Baby Dallas would be the girl to give you the most info about the area. It's been so long since I lived there I can't tell you about apartments anymore. Although there are some really nice lake apartments off of shady Grove. Can't remember the exact name of the street but I'll check into it. Hot Springs isn't what it used to be. Lakeshore drive and burtchwood bay road is a nice area. There are some nice apartments out there. Also a nice set off the road by mapco on Central before you get to the mall.
