Favorite Winter Drinks

It's been cold, dreary, snowy, foggy, and just generally crappy outside since Christmas. What libations warm you up from the inside out and make the winter bearable?

For me, 'tis a wee dram of single malt Scotch. Current favorite is Highland Park, although Macallan, Dalwhinnie, Aberlour A'bunadh, and Glenmorangie Nectar d'Oro all have their place and time.

I don't really have specific drinks for the season, but I do enjoy the different beers that Boulevard and Sam Adams come out with during the year. A nice bottle of Crown usually keeps me happy. Was drinking Flaming Dr. Peppers on New Years. Don't recall too much of that night

I'll second the Samuel Adams Winter Lager. I recently tried several of their brews and have been pleased with the variety of their seasonal beers.

I'm a big fan of cold wet and free.
