Say "Hello" to the new Arizona Senator, Jon Kyl!

Former Arizona U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl to replace John McCain

Kyl's appointment will make it possible for him to vote for ... [Kavanaugh's confirmation].

[Kyl, the Republican lawyer-turned-lobbyist, was tapped in July to help guide Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh through the confirmation process in a role informally called sherpa.]

By state law the senator will have to be a member of the same party as the departing one, in this case the GOP.

Every comment I've heard on his appointment has been positive.

He may be a great fit for Arizona. Seems like it for sure.

But that doesn't make Kavanaugh a good choice for America... only for Trumpler.

This is the only one that matters. Trump picked someone who'd have his back during the next stage of his coup. Checks and balances, right? Trump has sought to circumvent them all, using his small, er, base as the tool.

That's twice now you've told me what to do. I wish you'd open your mind a little bit, lustylad. The personal attacks and "assessments" are getting tedious.

Didn't you just say you want someone who's good for America?

Plus he wrote this in the Minnesota Law Review back in 2009, years before Trumpy ran for President.

But nice try using the WaPo to pretend you know how to talk substance. You lose.

I'd have to do more reading up on Kyl before making any real comments on him.

There we’re actually two days during the week of the 19th that I didn’t issue a single point...then last week y’all blew it up again. I guess the point isn’t getting through...things are going to have to change.

Y’all can insult Democrats and Republicans all you want, right up until you can’t anymore. As soon as you insult Democrat or Republican members in this forum, you’ve crossed the line...as I explained...

See folks, that’s why I warned y’all so many times. When you prepare an insult for someone, and you try to be cute with it, you very often fail without even realizing it. I realize your fails...every time...
