Dallas Cowboys tailgating

I have a friend coming in from out of town for the home opener against the 48ers, ive never been to the new stadium, and was wondering what your experiences are with tailgating? I don't want to do my own tailgate...too much to deal with for just me and my buddy.

ive been looking at all the places around the stadium that do tailgates for $50-$75 a head. anyone been to one of those? is it worth it? what is the crowd like?

that sounds like an ok deal, but I don't really want to pay $75 for one plate of BBQ and a beer.

Ideally id like to find someone that does their own big tailgating, drop by there for a few minutes grab a bite to eat and kick in some cash.

so is paying for the tailgating around the stadium worth it?

Here's what you do: You and your buddy find a large tailgaiting area. (not one where they're charging ppl). Split up so that you enter from one side, and your buddy enters the other side. Stroll thru confidently looking for your buddy. He does the same. Meet up like you're old pals, and loudly greet each other. You now look like you both belong. (No one knows everybody at a tailgate.) Look for the place where everyone kicks in a few dollars. If it's big enough, there's always one of those. Kick in 20 bucks each. You're buying food, beer, and a great story.
Tailgating at cowboys stadium rocks. But pricey though.
Wish we could tailgate as they do at other NFL stadiums......

Had the opportunity to attend a game at Lambeau a number of years ago and jumped all over it (however I had no advance notice as to how Packer fans treat pre-game activites). What an experience!
Tailgating for me (at Texas Stadium) was never the same afterwards.

And until this POS football team starts to play NFL caliber defense again, it'll be a while before I ever attend another game let alone tailgate at Jerry World.

Little hidden bar just behind the walmart called tailgate tavern,, very slow most of the year. It rocks during cowboy games
