Thinking of a visit to Cincinnati very soon. What area not to stay in? Being that I fly I need to know all good places to eat. What is a nice hang out during these cold months there.

Going to visit a high school friend in Dayton but would prefer to stay at a hotel. So best places to stay there also? I believe she told she is also close to Columbus.
