What is with Rain or Raine?

So many porn stars and providers use this last name, either spelling, and I don't get what the meaning or significance is.

Unfortunately most porn stars don't get to pick their names. Their agent does that for them. One could argue the point but often end up in a negotiation rather than winning.

My agent wanted to name me Kaycee Montanna. After much bickering and arguing we finally agreed on Jaycee Rivers.

I knew a dancer named Rain...

I started out as Dallas...but there were so many other "Dallas" or "Dallas derivatives",so i added Rain
It just sounded cool to me.....no significance or no reason other than that.
