See http://www.123flashchat.com/ipad-chat.html

I dunno if it's an extra license fee. It implies not. There's no module price for it, says just create a link with the current version and it's done.

http://www.123flashchat.com/html-chat.html It would be useful for those of us who liked to turn off flash too.

Is this something I put on my iPad? Or something that needs to be installed on the site?

Just downloaded it on an iPad2, and I can't even register to make it work. The reviews about the app say it sucks, and I agree.

No it's not something you, as a user, would download - the board administrators would have to enable it, and then you would click on a link/button the administrators would need to place on pages.

Let me explain: the chat software used on ECCIE is flashchat123. The developer charges a license fee for the base software and certain add-on modules. This member suggestion is simply that flashchat123 is now offering an ipad/iphone client option to site owners, should they want to take advantage of it.

From my limited research, they seem to tout it as an included base feature of the current flashchat123 release.

ferdburf, I don't know you downloaded, but nothing downloaded from flashchat123 should work directly on your iPad.
