Question About A City

I was wondering if Brazoria County was considered Houston or South Texas? Ive heard of girls in alvin but I was wondering since I do provide in that county... City's such as Pearland, Angleton, Clute, Lake Jackson, Freeport, Wharton, El Campo Etc...

They are part of the Greater Houston area.
