NEW TO HOBBYING & ECCIE!

I am realizing there is much I don't know to successfully and safely become more involved for what I'm looking for and enter this hobby. Suggestions for posts or threads on ECCIE and info? I'm in the Upstate NY area toward the western side in case some providers are friendly to newbies. I can also respond to private messages.

Welcome. I've always said that those who come onto the board asking questions, seeking to learn will fare better in the long run than those dropping by to tell us how big their package is, how much money they have, or how well-educated they are. Good for you.
