Charlie Hustle, MLBs all time hits leader passed today. Maybe they’ll let him in the HOF now.

he got a raw deal from the commish on that.

RIP Charlie Hustle
... That Pete Rose bloke had a rather apt and TRUE saying about
the Baseball Hall of Fame... Here it is:

"That's a nice Hall of Fame they got there in Cooperstown.
They got the guy with the SECOND-Most hits in there.
And they got the guy with the SECOND-Most home runs in there, too."

Reckon THAT sayes it all right there, don't it? ... ...

all things considered at least he got to visit with several of his Big Red Machine teammates the very day before he died.

one does not wonder why Johnny Bench wasn't there.

Pete Rose's final public appearance before his death Monday at age 83 came at the Music City sports collectibles and autograph show in Nashville, Tennessee.

Rose sat in a wheelchair as he posed for a photo Sunday at the show with fellow former Big Red Machine teammates Dave Concepcion, George Foster, Tony Perez and Ken Griffey Sr.

The show shared a photo of Rose with his former teammates on Facebook:
Sharing this photo from yesterday in the back room for everyone to see as the BIG RED MACHINE got together at Music City 2024. Amazing that they all got to see each other one last time.
