New talent in FW is always welcome. Sadly I’m traveling right now, but as the Terminator said “I’ll be back!!”

I don’t know what’s happening in Fort Worth, but I do know what’s happening in Dallas?

Sundance Square, particularly on a weekend night. Performances at the Bass Hall. Heim Barbecue. White Elephant Saloon (and the Stockyards in general). Amon Carter Museum (and the museum district in general).

There’s so much to do in Cowtown on a weekend, I usually don’t recommend making the trek to Dallas. The State Fair is going on right now, however, and that’s definitely worth the trip east if you haven’t been. You can even take the train over from parts of Fort Worth.

Still too warm for the patio. Otherwise margaritas at Joe T’s would be a great recommendation. Next weekend, though....
