Thinking of Visiting New Orleans!!

I'm thinking of Visiting really soon ..Any suggestions on safe locations in NEW ORLEANS.. Any info would be greatly appreciated..

cbd/downtown are great areas...also there are a couple of nice discrete hotels in lower garden district.....lots of fun to be had here in THE BIG EASY....now hotels are getting expensive with the playoffs and mardi gras...use hotwire or bookit.com...pm if ya need any help!!kisses,d
