I don't know if everyone is aware. Things get fuzzy when your having fun chasing Tail

Everyone be safe. Stock up on waters and lots of candles and batteries. Check on your family, friends and elderly neighbors to make sure they're
OkDownload some movies on your phone or tablet just incase power goes out for a bit.

This storm shouldn't be too bad but of course yall know how we are after hurricane katrina we take all storms serious now lol but Enjoy the rain. Maybe invite a lady or two to enjoy it with you

Oh and check on your favorite ladies. You know the golden rule. Discreetness is our policy. Some might not want to intrude and text you

Me personally I'm kicking back and enjoying the rain

Yes, it's bad. From one end of the TX /Louisiana line to NOLA. I've been driving in it and it's not pretty.
A lot of messed up accidents out there on the 10.

Yes I feel bad for people that have to drive in it. I've been trying to stay indoors and alert family to try to stay indoors if possible. The stores and roads were pretty packed out here in slidell. It's been raining almost every single day and the roads are slippery as can be.

Please if you can stay indoors please do. This weather and the roads as well as the nervousness of people. Just not a good combination

A practical hint from a guy who have been living in hurricane prone areas for a long time:

Buy 2-3 or more gallon jugs of drinking water. Open them and use about 1/10 (about a pint) of each. Close and put them in the freezer a day or two before the storm arrives.
After frozen those large block of ice can keep everything in your freezer frozen for 36 hours or more if power fails. You can also take one out and put it in your fridge to keep things cool.
And later you will have drinking water for extended power failures and boil water advisories.

Stay safe !

Cheers
I am well stocked up over here near the Lakefront Airport in the East. Our catch basins are cleaned, the streets are clutter free, and all of my neighbors are stocked up and prepared...
I am lucky to have a neighbor who works in the city () so I know 1st hand anything that happens in NOLA...

Hope it moves out quickly...

Stay safe everyone and if you can try to stay off the streets while raining.
New Orleans reminds me of NYC with the driving just not as packed. Driving is terrible on a normal day. Any visit to new orleans I'm always barely just missed 2 accidents. so just imagine during a storm.
This one won't be bad at all. The last one that came through last year was a big nothingburger, following the actual reports for the oil production platforms which have official weather stations on them, that one never had gale force winds though the media and weather service was saying "HURRICANE" as loud as they could.
Looks like Ms. will get the brunt of it, if anything...NOLA will most likely be spared, but we might get wind and rain a little bit. WHEW!!

Well it rained hard in slidell all but 2 minutes lol A whole tree fell in front the door swiping my car (just a dent) and power lines collapsed. Power was out about 6 hours but it's restored now ...

Not to bad where I'm at. Little rain and wind. Storm moving fast is a good thing. Be safe everyone.

Thanks for the update Lia, I’m from H-Town and will be there tomorrow. After Harvey, we don’t underestimate hurricanes. (Check your pm’s)

I’m ready for New Orleans....😏

Thankfully, it missed my area. I always stock up on water and food post-Katrina.
