In Your Opinion What is the difference between an Agency, Manager and Pimp? Where do you draw the line that you don't cross?

Girls have representation in a variety of manners.

Full Fledged if they work for an Agency all the way down to something as simple as a scheduler......

How do YOU define the different rolls and who will you see or not see that has some level of representation?

Not naming any names....

Just want to know what others think of this subject in the current environment.
I don't have a problem with an agency nor with a scheduler. No thanks to any other kind of "management".
This is a really interesting topic + This is the first time I've seen this subject addressed !

1. The politically correct answer is that all of these things are the same; management/assistance for providers. The P.C. answer is that all of these words are equal + Society's biases (racism + classism) are the reason why there are certain stigmas + stereotypes attached to "pimp" moreso than "agency" + "manager."

(I have my own experiences, knowledge, opinions, but I like that politically correct answer because it sounds so nice + I never really hear anyone say it.)

2. independent escorts with one paid assistant = "pimp in reverse"
Agencies generally book consenting providers.

The term Manager is too vague.

Pimps book both consenting and non consenting providers through coercion or direct force if necessary. Some agencies however morph into pimps by crossing over to the dark side and threatening exposure and harm to providers who move on. Hello Marco.

All of the above have on occasion concealed their involvement with provider causing monger to think he is dealing or texting directly with desired provider.

IMO

An Agency maintains a Frontage of some sort and advertises and markets their business and can build their own reputation based on the service they provide the client, the available product and the way they deal with issues that arise. They can take a relatively unknown girl and make her instantly successful if their reputation is strong enough.

A Pimp tends to do little or nothing other than possibly place ads for the girls.

I'm not sure what the other do in all honesty.... Juts terms I hear regularly....

So long as the girl I see seems to put on a show that she wants to be there and all goes well I tend to not think about the rest. It is between her and whomever she works with.

What I hate is what Cody mentions...... I do not want to email, PM, text or talk to someone "PRETENDING" to be the girl I am trying to see.....

I've had tremendously enjoyable experiences in 2 different market places never speaking to anyone other than the person at the Agency.... They came to know me and my tastes and I came to trust them as they repeatedly told me straight up what to expect. "Danny" in Fort Lauder dale never let me down..... Neither did Amber in Houston.... or Billy......

This city NEEDS a top notch Agency... It's a shame there has not been one that has developed and been honest and open to deal with....

The lady running the place was a former provider and most of her clients were either former clients or just guys that had been using her agency long enough for her to know what they wanted. I didn't have to advertise, screen, book, email, blah blah blah and she got enough feedback on what I was like BCD and knew me well enough OTC to figure out who'd like me best and what I could deliver. Her loyalties seemed balanced between the ladies and gents, which worked out for me.

I'd call her any day of the week after I booked a nice room in one of a dozen specific nice hotels in the metro area and at 10am I was ready to go. Sure, there were cons. She got a decent cut (cut increased as volume increased) and sometimes the volume was higher than I was comfortable with (a girl needs an hour between rounds, ya know?). Also, high volume in hotels tickles my natural paranoia.

I think for me, an ideal situation would be a manager of sorts. I'd be open about it, because I know that being found out after the fact would soil a reputation more than being upfront would soil potential bookings. But hell, I like the blowjobs more than the bookwork, who can blame me? But it'd take a hell of a lot of trust on every end. I'd have to trust her (I'd probably only go current or former pro) enough to screen appropriately, pay attention to the emails/calls, and to have my best interest at heart. She'd have to trust me to not book under the table, to share profits if overtime is booked on the spot, to show up at all. And of course it'd require the clients to extend their trust to two people instead of the one. Unfortunately, there are a lot of opportunities for this sort of set-up to go sour. A girl can dream...

Anywho, I know that my response wasn't an exact response to the questions posed, but it felt on topic enough to share.
I think the litmus test is fairly simple. If the provider and the third party are open about the third party's involvement, and the girl doesn't appear to be coerced and seems to be doing this of her own volition, then I'm likely to be comfortable with the situation. Though I've never used one, I have no problem with an agency, in theory. And I have no problem with a girl using a scheduler, so long as they are up-front about that and I know who I'm talking to.

It is when there is some shadowy third person involved that no one wants to admit to that I stay away. The challenge, of course, is sussing those situations out since, by definition, no one is being honest about what is going on.

That said, my preference is still for truly independent providers.

What a ladies business arrangement is, is her business. As long as I get what I'm paying for,and not put in danger, why should I care? If she wants to give Superfly or mamason a cut,as long as there are no signs of force, why would I care? Some are more reliable than any number of "independents". Speaking of "independents",how many you get to actually speak on the phone? :snicker:

Some independent or non coerced girls are in this strictly for the money and actually hate fucking old fat guys and the resentment shows.
The non enthusiastic attitude doesn't necessarily mean they are pimped.

Other girls who are pimped by force figure they had better put on their best face so the feedback getting back to the pimp is positive.

When it comes to young inexperienced providers how can any monger tell the difference?

None of Marco's clients were in danger when they first booked with him but that sure changed when he decided to start posting their RW identities online.
In my eyes, I don't think there is much of a difference. Just different names for the way things are done differently. DISCLAIMER: these are my definitions.

Pimp -- "old school" style of management. The guy usually keeps the ladies in his fold by blackmail, coercion, and abuse.

Managed -- just another name for a pimp. Sometimes can refer to as a female.

Agency -- the organization of women that a pimp runs. Advertised as such vs. being advertised as "independent."

You forgot to list one: Mama-san, which I believe is another name for a female pimp, usually one who runs an AMP or agency.

Agency+Pimps=Felony
"Independents"=Misdemeanor

I am all for pimps and managers, if it makes the quality of the session and provider go up!

However, extortion and violence aren't cool...nor should a pimp expect to regularly have sex with those he/she manages for free or demand freebies for certain friends/clients.

Most often I wasn't able to figure it out until the time of, or after the session unless the information was given to me before hand. I rely upon reviews for some of that and really do appreciate notes about that.

My bottom line is my own personal safety. I'm not about to get someone out of a bad situation at my own risk.
