Ok, where can a transplanted Pittsburgher find some good wings in the DFW metroplex?

I visited back there over the holidays, and forgot how almost at any bar or eating establishment, you could get at worst "average" wings and in a lot of cases, really damn good wings. I've been searching down here and while Wing Stop is ok, I bet someone knows better.

Help?

I am having a brain freeze trying to think of the name of this place on Buckingham between Greenville and Audelia, south side but good wings and great onion rings

What kind do you like? If you like incredibly hot but tasty you could try a hooters and get them to make you Elvis Wings. They are off the menu and most cooks don't know to make them.

You take the Bentley Version, add horseradish to the sauce, grill some jalapenos and chop then add to sauce.

The Bentley version of the Daytona wings are very good too if you have them make them as Bentley instead of just hot.

I enjoy Wingstop as well but there aren't many places that make great wings here.

I like a good mixture of hot and bbq as well as ones that are just rubbed. The best wings I've had came as full wings - seem to maintain their flavor and size after cooking.

I've never heard of the elvis wings - I might give that a try.

You can get quite a variety at Buffalo Wild Wings. http://www.buffalowildwings.com/ They have about 15 different sauces and you can watch some sports there too. Yes it is a chain so if you're looking for a down home mom and pop type place this isn't it. But for the variety they can't be beat. One of my favorite places for wings - wish they had the eye candy like Hooters though, but they don't.
I love Buffalo wild wings, my favortie is the parmasean garlic. Great place to watch sports too. Think I am going there to watch the cowboy game saturday nite.

Bone Daddy's House of Smoke- great Texas BBQ type wings with lots of stickly sauce. Great beer and scenery, as well. Several DFW locations- Grapevine is best.
