HDTVs

I missed the black friday sales for the TVs. I am searching craigs list and there are several new ones but of course they want a markup. I don't blame them that is why they stood in line.

My question is, does anyone know if traditionally, TVs go on sale like that again before Christmas?

40" HDTVs for $179 or $199.

Or will they be on sale right after Christmas because of low sales numbers?

I can wait another month or two, but I am taking a gamble. If it wait it out and the retailers don't give decent bargains, then I am going to miss the ones on CL.

My hope is that the CL sellers are finding it hard to sell and will go down on price.

Most models have already changed. The low dollar are being loss leaders and liquidating aged inventory.

Seriously, I am looking for a cheapy 36" or 42" flatscreen. Something newer than this tube I have now at the office.

If anyone is upgrading their's and wants to sell me it cheap, I am interested.

*HDMI* would be a bonus.

Mftr # of 12345-A)...the only way I would purchase this type of item would be if the lower WM price AND the Walmart warranty could be had for cheaper than somewhere else....
Last helpful hint...it is VERY difficult to beat the price/value of a brand called
INSIGNIA which the in house brand of BestBuy...they shop the manufacturer of this brand annually and use solid manufacturers such as LG, Samsung and Toshiba....and theirs are the EXACT same product with small cosmetic nuances and the fact that is says INSIGNIA.....good luck
BTW...I shop at Walmart all the time...just be informed about electronics issue
