Pence did exactly what the Constitution said he should do and Mitch McConnell defended the Constitution as well saying he would not support not voting for the chosen electors. Josh Hawley said they were doing this because they wanted the States to take a good hard look at what happened in their states so that the "irregularities" that did happen like the Secy of State of Georgia "compromising" with Stacey Abrams to change election laws in Georgia when only the Legislature by law could change the rules., won't happen again.
