Though not political this does belong in this forum!
One of my favorite all time singers died yesterday. A true Gentleman with an angels voice. Got to see him a few times. Always a joy. He was still doing gigs and was good as ever! A very humble man that was born during the depression. His second love was baseball. He played for numerous teams in the Negro leagues and even had tryouts for the majors. But it was his first love that broke down barriers in a predominant white culture of Country and Western singing. He had many chart toppers and a long distinguished career. He was the first Black inducted into the Country music hall of fame and the Grand Ol Opry! He will be missed.
Crystal Chandeliers is my favorite.
