BEWARE: Escort advertisers sending links for "Verification"

I think they are attempting to mine data to gain access to financials.

I responded to an escort ad and immediately received a response. The response was not from the woman pictured in the ad (this is expected) but the email address was different also, causing me to be very concerned. The response wanted me to verify my email inside a link that was referred to as their private profile. I went silent. Suddenly the escort begins being very insistent on me responding and using the link. Email after email saying how horny and lonely she is. Sending me explicit pictures of a woman who would easily get all the male companionship she wanted.

Has anyone else seen this type of request?

I don't believe this is a one off advertisement. I saw others with similar wording.

Be careful!
Lol. Now she is offering it to me free if I use the link to verify. So obvious. Are there many scams like this out there? Kinda scary.

I got a weird email the other day wanting to know if I was available from someone named Mary, but the email address was from someone named Igor. I responded with "who is this" I get a response saying "no stupid questions. My BF cheated on me and I want to get him back, check my profile here "(with a link).

Nope.

I just blocked it and reported it to spam.

Hmm...makes ya wonder if possibly the problems over at OH2 has a connection??

If you are logging into OH2 with all the hack issues they are supposedly having then when your email is hacked, bank account is drained or any social media accounts are hacked, then it is your fault.
I have never logged into OH2

anytime a provider that you've never met and only found in one of the many online directories (LC, STG, bedpage, etc.) asks you
a) for a deposit,
b) to go to a website and pay a fee so they'll know you're serious and not a flake, or
c) to go to a link for "Verification",

DROP THEM LIKE A HOT POTATO AND MOVE ON.
IT'S A SCAM TO SEPARATE YOUR MONEY FROM YOU.

do some research on legit sites (here, oh2, p411, etc) and find someone who will provide you w/ a deliteful time.

if you have time, screw w/ their mind and waste their time. tell them you're getting a 404 on the page. or your a/v says that site has malware. or that you cant get past the first page cos the instructions are in lithuanian or cambodian. just fuck w/ them and waste their time.

last week, there was a cutie on rubmd that i thought might be deliteful, so i sent her a text. a few minutes later, i get a text from a diff ph# saying "she" uses several ads to weed out flakes. then tells me to CashApp "her" some money to show i'm serious. i fuck w/ "her" for about 15 mins, tossing in texts of all the sexual peccadillos i wanna do with her. eventually, "she" quit texting back.
