vanilla Reviews

The reasons for reviews is to offer the providers feedback in an effort to teach them how to better perform their services.

What has been gained from trying to kiss the ass of some provider?
Would anyone who has written some little kissy kissy review explain this to me. Most of these reviews of BCD activities sound real close to what goes on with most SO.

Fellas, the providers would not exist with out us and as long as we promote mediocrity...that is the best we can expect.
I would think the Top Shelf Providers would be in an uproar with these Vanilla reviews also.

Who ever approves these reviews should hold a higher standard for acceptance. By being a moderator one would expect you to know...

Reviews are for the fellow hobbyist. Why the hell would any provider want to be taught what to do by a client? They'll see more action in a year than we will in ten years.

Well, PC, you got that all wrong.

Also, who says every review has to be a gynocology lesson. Personally, I think a lot of guys embellish the "facts".

The important stuff is: was she the girl in the pics, were the pics accurate, did she show up on time, did she live up to the hype in her profile, (this covers a lot), did she refuse a service that she advertised as providing, and most of all, did you have a good time.

Some guys do not feel comfortable writing what amounts to pure gard core porn reviews. But they do wish to share a positive experience with their fellow hobbyist.

Here's a little piece of advice...since you're a newbie! Before you become a review critic, add something to the database yourself. Right now you look like one of those people who bitches about politics but you're to lazy to go out and vote.

Some review boards ( no need to mention which ones) require that the review be 'juicy' and in order to give a certain score the provider needs to do certain services ( I could be wrong). But that's based on the ones I've seen. Most providers have access to their reviews at least on the sites I've been on. Do they read them? I have no idea.

Well, it looks like you have gotten attention with your first post! No hostility from me, but some basic advice.

No, that is not the purpose of a review. Feedback to the lady should be done more privately. Most folks are more honest in private, and most respond more favorably that way, especially it it's negative feedback.

And you have what issue with this? A review is supposed to describe what a guy could reasonably expect if he goes to see the lady in question. There are few things that cause a guy to stop writing reviews faster than (1) being told his review isn't what actually happened by some guy who wasn't there, and (2) being told the review isn't written in the style some other guy likes to read. I have no idea what you even mean by a "kissy kissy review", but when you write a review you can write it as graphicly as you wish--just a heads up, that won't always have the effect you're looking for.

Really confuse here son, as Foghorn Leghorn might say. Reviews do not promote mediocrity. And they most certainlt do not need to be critiqued by a guy who was not there who makes some ill informed judgement of their own about how the session went or how the lady was. And why in your mind would a "Top Shelf Provider" be in an uproar about a Vanilla review--whatever that is.

One of the best--and most successful--ladies in DC has many, many pages of reviews that essentially say, "I spent a great couple hours with XXXX. Her photos are spot on, her sevice is fantastic, and I will definately be back!" The non-graphic nature was at her request, and most guys respected her wishes. It didn't seem to hurt her business much. What would you suggest should have been written instead?

If you are infavor of retroactive censor ship, why not go the next step and just have the mods write everyone's reviews for them. It would save time.
