The article says the Far Side won't be back.
True story, I worked with a guy who I had to explain the humor of the Far Side cartoons frequently. He had one of those daily calendars. Then he confessed that he didn't have a sense of humor. When people laughed, he just "went along with it" and faked a laugh. At meetings I would see him taking visual clues of what the group found funny and try to laugh along.
Good guy other than that.
