Hey Coasties....
I've heard that Jackson county and some of the islands have started getting oil, but what is condition of Gulfport/Biloxi? I'm in Ocean Springs for a couple of days and thinking of going to the beach, weather permitting. I may drive along 90 and see what it looks like.
Anyone know of good happy hours or similar around Biloxi/OS? Any other events? I'm looking for something to occupy myself while I'm down here. It seems the oil spill is the only thing happening around here, if you check news or websites. Surely there has to be something more to do than scrape tar balls off the beach?

News tonight said large globs of tar on the beach around Rodenberg Ave - Biloxi not far from Keesler. You might want to check out the beaches west of Gulfport for some splashing time.
